PROCESSED WITH FRAMEFORGE FREE

See the difference.
Right here.

Actual source videos and FrameForge Free exports. Short, silent comparisons play on this page.

01 / UPSCALING

A closer look at the detail.

480p → 960p · 2×

The same area, at the same display size. The original is enlarged for this detail comparison; the exported video is 1708×960. No extra sharpening was added to this presentation.

02 / INTERPOLATION

More frames. Smoother motion.

15→30 FPS in one 2× pass. Select 60 FPS to see the result of processing the 30 FPS export a second time. Free supports up to 2× per pass.

03 / SLOW MOTION

A quick moment, given more time.

Original speed versus 2× slow motion · both at 30 FPS

The same action: the original four-second excerpt repeats twice on the left while the eight-second slow-motion excerpt plays once on the right. The frame rate stays at 30 FPS.

The excerpts were trimmed and compressed for web playback. Comparison sides are encoded together to keep them aligned. Results vary with the source video, model and settings.

NEW · VERSION 1.2.1

A reported issue.
A focused fix.

Upscaling reliability update

We reproduced a GPU memory failure that could produce black frames during upscaling. Version 1.2.1 reduces memory pressure, detects silent Vulkan failures and retries with smaller tiles. AI previews and exports share the correction.

Checked with all three Free Real-ESRGAN models in short 480p-to-960p exports and an AI preview on an RTX 3080, plus recovery and clip tests. This patch has not been physically retested on AMD or Intel.

01

See your adjustments

Compare the original and adjusted image in the live preview. Zoom in to inspect details. AI previews take additional processing time.

02

Process the part that matters

Choose a short clip instead of processing an entire recording. Keep your original files and experiment on a smaller section first.

03

Keep storage under control

Choose where extracted frames and temporary files go. Use optional block processing and disk-space protection for longer tasks.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few answers.
Before you start.

Contact support ↗
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

Video processing runs locally on your computer. Internet access is used to download models and their dependencies from third-party hosts. The presentation site does not accept video uploads.

Does it work with AMD, NVIDIA and Intel?

Compatible GPUs can use Vulkan models. Full also offers CUDA models for supported NVIDIA GPUs. Compatibility depends on the exact GPU and driver. Not every GPU has been physically tested; CPU-only AI processing is not included.

Are AI models included in the installer?

No. Choose to download the available packages on first launch or install a model when you need it. Sizes and applicable licenses are shown before downloading.

Can AI recover every missing detail?

No. Upscaling and interpolation can introduce artifacts, and results depend on the original footage and settings. Keep your originals and test a short clip before processing a whole video.

Why might Windows show a security warning?

The current installer is not digitally signed. Windows SmartScreen may show an unrecognized-app warning. Use the official release links and compare the supplied SHA-256 checksum. A checksum verifies file integrity; it does not replace publisher signing. Do not disable antivirus protection.

Where can I get help?

Email [email protected] or report a problem on GitHub. Include your edition, app version, GPU, driver and the error text. Do not include private videos or account details.
